What
Removes the single entry
"@openchamber/opencode-claude@1.3.8"from thepluginsarray in.opencode/opencode.jsonc. Nothing else changes (1 line deleted). This file is the global opencode config:~/.config/opencode/opencode.jsoncis a symlink to it.Root cause of the claude-code 404s (opencode#1806)
The stale external plugin
@openchamber/opencode-claude@1.3.8registers asession.model.requesthook that rewrites every claude-code provider request baseURL to its own loopback proxy. The native provider then composesPOST http://127.0.0.1:<proxy>/v1/v1/messages, and the proxy answers with its own plain-text404 Not Found. Proven 2026-11-06: removing the plugin restored live Anthropic 200s (PROBEOK on both probe legs, route_attempt outcome success) on fork build 5e9b135f. Both 22c0a6d and 5e9b135f were affected identically — the defect was never in the fork binary, the credential, or the config baseURL; it was this plugin, external to both builds. Why this PR is time-critical
Production is already running with this exact edit as an uncommitted working-tree change in the primary checkout (applied as the stopgap through the
~/.config/opencode/opencode.jsoncsymlink). The resulting file blob is885d480582— byte-identical to this PR branch. Until this lands, any checkout/pull/rebuild that refreshes the working tree resurrects the plugin and re-breaks claude-code; Drew's pending #5647 switch makes that window concrete. This PR makes the production-proven bytes the committed state.Verification
885d48058235a431ba3ced9a219dfbfd731c037b== the live production file currently serving GREEN probe legs.grep opencode-claudeover the whole repo tree: this was the only occurrence.Open in [code]smith · Need help on this PR? Tag
